'The Marvels': Brie Larson Flaunts Her Pull-Up Strength [Watch]
Brie Larson, who is currently training and filming Marvel's highly anticipated movie, "The Marvels," took to Twitter on Wednesday to share a video featuring her performing pull-ups.
In the 28-second clip, the actress could be seen starting the video before heading towards the pull-up bar and then doing 5 chin-up pull-ups, wearing a red workout outfit.
"Observes no holidays for training," she captioned the video after tagging her training professional’s Twitter handle.
Twitter users took to the comments section to share their mixed reactions.
One of the users commented how the actress was using her feet to jump, rather than using arm muscles to perform the pull-ups. Another fan also wrote, "I think you gotta do the pull ups without touching the ground to get to where youre looking for."
However, there were some fans who praised the actress and asked her to add a couple of pounds more while performing the pull-ups.
Larson made her debut in the Marvel franchise with "Captain Marvel," which was released in 2019. She played an Air Force fighter pilot named Carol Danvers in the movie.
The movie earned $1 billion at the worldwide box office, which led to the announcement of the second installment, titled "The Marvels."
The second installment will also feature a popular Marvel character Kamala Khan, who will play Ms. Marvel, along with Monica Rambeau [played by actress Teyonah Parris]. The movie is directed by Nia DaCosta and is slated to release on Feb. 17, 2023.
Since the second installment has been announced, Larson keeps her fans updated regarding her workout regime. The actress took to Twitter in June to share an impressive one-hand push-up video.
Considering the upcoming movies of Marvel Studios, fans will be treated with "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness," which is slated to release on May 6, 2022. "Thor: Love and Thunder" will also release the same year on July 8.
"Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" will mark Marvel's last movie of 2022, releasing on Nov. 11, next year.
