Showtime has already released the Season 4 premiere of “Masters Of Sex” for free on its website. Showtime

Showtime is treating “Masters Of Sex” fans to an early Season 4 premiere. Although world-renowned sex researchers Dr. Bill Masters and Virginia Johnson were supposed to appear on Season 4 on Sunday, Sept. 11, at 10 p.m. EDT, the network has already released episode 1 for free on their website.

The Season 3 finale ended with Bill (Michael Sheen) losing his family after confessing to Libby (Caitlin Fitzgerald) that he was having an affair with Virginia (Lizzy Caplan) for several years. To make matters worse, Virginia left the doctor for perfumer Dan Logan (Josh Charles). Moreover, he almost lost his clinic and practice after being slapped with a lawsuit and prostitution charge.

Season 4 will kick off in 1968 with Masters battling to keep his practice in court. He will attend daily Alcoholics Anonymous meetings mandated by court. Furthermore, the sex researcher would be at rock bottom and this will lead him to reflect on his life and past decisions.

The best part of the upcoming season is that Bill and Virginia will reunite, repair their broken relationship and rebuild their practice. The Showtime series delves into the swinging ‘60s and ‘70s which also happens to be the height of the sexual revolution.

Several new characters have been added in “Masters Of Sex” Season 4 including Neicy Nash, Betty Gilpin, Erin Karpluk, Corey Reynolds, Camryn Manheim, Kelli O’Hara and David Walton.

Although both Bill and Virginia will take on new partners both personally and professionally, even Libby will be seen enjoying the company of new sexual partners after finally being free from the shackles of her marriage with her husband.

“Masters Of Sex” Season 4 airs on Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT on Showtime. The premiere will be showcased on Sept. 11 but can be watched now on the network’s website.
