Matt Damon, Wife Luciana Arrive In Georgia For Ben Affleck-Jennifer Lopez Wedding Celebration

Ben Affleck's longtime best friend Matt Damon is among the celebrities joining Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's three-day wedding celebration in Georgia this weekend.

Damon, 51, and his wife Luciana Barroso, 46, flew in via private jet Friday and were seen in photographs published by Page Six.

Affleck's "Good Will Hunting" collaborator and Barroso were spotted at an airfield close to the "Justice League" actor's Georgia estate, where he is set to exchange vows with Lopez, 53, Saturday.

In the snaps, Damon wore loose-fitting khakis and a white T-shirt under a black button-down, which he left open. He accessorized with aviator sunglasses and a black baseball cap

His wife — who shares daughters Isabella, 16, Gia, 13, and Stella, 11, with Damon — opted for a white jumpsuit, oversized shades and animal-print sneakers.

Damon's attendance at Affleck, 50, and Lopez's wedding may come as no surprise to fans as the two actors have been close friends long before they became Hollywood stars.

In a previous interview, Damon shared that a childhood incident that involved Affleck defending him from a bigger kid cemented their friendship. They then got closer as they defended their choice to pursue acting from their parents who weren't very supportive and encouraged each other on their journey to stardom.

"Ben Affleck and I actually had a joint bank account, and the bank account was money that we'd made doing local commercials and we could only use it on trips to New York to audition," Damon told CNN in 2011 of their friendship. "If one kid had enough for a candy bar, then the candy bar was bought and split in half — that's just the way it's been."

Damon and Affleck have recently been working together and, in June, were photographed on the Los Angeles set of their as-yet-untitled Nike movie.

Damon has been supportive of Affleck's rekindled romance with Lopez. During an appearance on "The Carlos Watson Show" last year, he said that "no one's pulling harder than I am" when asked by host Carlos Watson if Affleck and Lopez would make it.

"They're both great. I just want for their happiness, and they seem pretty happy right now," Damon said at the time.

Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16. But they are hosting a three-day wedding celebration with their friends and family, which kicked off with a rehearsal dinner Friday.

The couple's second wedding will take place Saturday, with former monk Jay Shetty reportedly officiating the ceremony. The celebration will wrap up with a barbecue and picnic Sunday.
