Meet The ‘Amazing Race’ 2022 Cast: Contestant Refresher Before Season 33 Premiere

It’s been nearly a year since the final episodes of Season 32 aired, but fans of “the Amazing Race” will finally get to see the return of the race around the world for $1 million on their TV screens once again.

Season 33 of the CBS reality competition series will see a good mix of teams who fans have both potentially seen before, as well as ones featuring people who were previously unknown, but also face the show’s most unprecedented challenges yet—the COVID-19 Pandemic, which forced the series to not only halt filming initially, but change up more than a few things to meet safety protocols.

According to a press release, teams will start the race from their own homes and head to London, England. Their initial filming began in February 2020, before it was halted for more than a year, until Fall 2021. It's unclear how else that will effect the rest of the season.
