Meet The ‘Power Book IV: Force’ Cast Before Series Premiere Of Tommy’s Spinoff
Fans have been waiting almost two years for the premiere of “Power Book IV: Force” to learn more about Tommy Egan’s story. After the 2020 series finale of “Power,” Starz teased multiple spinoffs about some of the show’s most popular characters.
On Sunday night, fans will be reunited with Tommy (Joseph Sikora), after he left New York following the deaths of his best friend Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and girlfriend Kiesha (La La Anthony).
Before tunning into the series premiere of “Power Book IV: Force,” learn more about the cast and their characters:
Joseph Sikora
Sikora will reprise his role as Tommy, who has put the events that transpired in New York behind him for a new start in Chicago. However, this time around, Tommy plans to be the boss and become the biggest drug dealer Chicago has ever seen. Sikora has previously appeared in several films and series, including “Boardwalk Empire,” “Ozark,” and “True Detective.”
Isaac Keys
Keys will take on the role of Diamond Sampson, who gets released following a 15-year prison sentence. After leaving his younger brother in charge of his drug crew, Diamond plans to take reclaim his place as their leader. Keys started out as a professional football player before turning to acting. He has landed roles on several shows including, “The Oath,” “The Rookie,” “Lucifer,” “Supergirl,” and more.
Lili Simmons
In “Power Book IV: Force,” Simmons will portray Claudia “Claud” O’Shea, the daughter of Chicago’s biggest drug kingpin. She is determined to create her own path, which could eventually save her family. While Simmons has appeared in TV series like “The Purge,” “Ray Donovan,” and “Hawaii Five-0,” she recently wrapped production on Alex Noyer’s indie thriller “Conductor.”
Gabrielle Ryan
Ryan will take on the role of Gloria Rodgers, a marine turned chef who owns a bar frequented by members of the Irish mafia. However, after an encounter with Tommy, her world will be turned upside down. Ryan is no stranger to television and may look familiar thanks to her roles in “The Haves and the Have Nots,” “Debris,” and the Netflix series “Bonding.”
Shane Harper
Harper plays Vic O’Shea, the heir to the largest crime family in Chicago. While he is entitled to the throne, his father’s fondness for Tommy will push Vic to take extreme measures to keep his crown. Harper became a household name due to his time on the Disney series “Good Luck Charlie.” His roles have matured since then, with appearances in shows like “Awkward” and “Hightown.”
Tommy Flanagan
Flanagan will take on the role of Walter Flynn, the head of an Irish crime family who is determined to uphold his strict code of honor as he deals with new threats against his empire. Aside from Flanagan’s appearance in the HBO series “Westworld,” he has held roles in a variety of TV series, including FX’s “Sons of Anarchy” and the Netflix series “Wu Assassins.”
Kris Lofton
The actor will take on the role of Diamond’s younger brother Jernard Sampson. Although he was accepted into Brown University, Jernard turned down the prestigious education to run his brother’s drug crew. Lofton has held recurring roles in the HBO show “Ballers” and “Empire.” He also appeared in roles on “Shameless,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Snowfall,” and “SMILF.”
Anthony Fleming III
Fleming will portray a talented jazz musician named JP Gibbs. While JP has toured around the world and became the owner of a blues club, he struggles with the pain of not knowing his son and never having a mother. Along with a long list of theater performances, Fleming has also appeared in “Divergent” and “Prison Break.”
Lucien Cambric
The actor will take on the role of Darnell “D-Mac” McDowell. Even though D-Mac was raised by the streets on the southside of Chicago, he became a loyal and independent young man who believes Tommy can offer him guidance. Cambric started his career singing and playing the piano. While his talent landed him lead roles in school plays, he was eventually cast in television roles on “Chicago PD,” “The Chi”, “Shameless,” and “Southside.”
“Power Book IV: Force” premieres Sunday at 9:15 p.m. EST on Starz.
