Meet The ‘Survivor’ 2019 Cast: Tribe Refresher Before 'Island Of The Idols' Season 39 Premiere
Another season of “Survivor” is almost upon us. On Wednesday, Sept. 25, CBS will premiere Season 39 of the competition series. This time around, two “legendary winners” are returning to the game to mentor the group of 20 castaways on “Survivor: Island Of The Idols.”
Boston Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine, who have a combined over 200 days of “Survivor” under their belts, will share their skills and strategies with the 2019 players lucky enough to win a visit to the Island of the Idols. In the end, only one newcomer will be awarded the show's $1 million grand prize.
According to the synopsis, players who are selected to visit the island have to decide if they want to "put their knowledge to the test for a chance at a possible advantage in the game or risk losing something very important in the process."
“It’s a 'Survivor' boot camp where each week, players will be instructed on a different facet of the game and then have a chance to test what they’ve learned for a shot at an advantage,” host Jeff Probst explained in a statement.
