Meghan King Shares New Year's Resolution After Cuffe Owens Split

Meghan King plans to focus on her family this year.

Following her split from estranged husband Cuffe Owens, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" alum, 37, took to Instagram to share a photo of her three children playing in the sand along with a caption about her New Year's resolution.

"2022 resolution. I'm gonna mom the s--t outta this year," King wrote. "Top that. Go ahead, whadya got."

King is spending time with her kids with ex-husband Jim Edmonds — daughter Aspen, 5, and 3-year-old twin sons Hart and Hayes — in Jensen Beach, Florida, according to the post.

Friends and followers of King flooded the comments section of the post with words of encouragement for the former Bravo star.

"I fully believe you can! Focus on yourself and your kids, you don't need a man! You got this! Start believing in yourself please," one person commented.

"Make those littles your main focus; the rest will come! You're a blessed woman with three lovely and healthy children, a wonderful family, intelligence and the ability to make things happen!" another added.

"Agreed!! Keep doing you! I love your honesty and keeping it real," a third fan wrote.

King also shared a video of her family's holiday celebration, declaring it to be her "favorite New Year's Eve of all time." The clip showed her three children making noise by hitting metal bowls with spatulas and ladles as they rang in 2022.

In the caption, the TV personality revealed that they welcomed the new year at the beach with King's parents and sister. She also shared a "special moment" they had with a stranger, who told apparently told them that they "made her year."

"None of it includes makeup, fancy clothing, coiffed hair or even shoes for that matter. I feel the energy of 2022 invigorating my soul, and I’m so ready to start a new year with the thrill I felt with my kiddos tonight. Who’s with me?!" she wrote of their New Year's festivities.

King confirmed her split from Owens, 42, on Instagram Monday, just two months after they tied the knot in a surprise ceremony held at Owens' childhood home in Pennsylvania in October.

"I've been asked by many outlets and individuals to comment on the state of my marriage," she began her statement, according to People.

She continued, "I am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows — and I'm shocked and saddened by the way things turned out."

Reports surfaced earlier this month that the two ended things because King lives in St. Louis, Missouri, while President Joe Biden's nephew resides in Los Angeles. However, she later told Page Six that long-distance wasn't the reason for the breakup.

"Cuffe lived with me," King said. "We didn't have any distance."

"We lived together every day since the day we met," she added. "There was no [California/Missouri] distance. There was zero long-distance whatsoever."

Just three weeks before she confirmed their split, King asked her followers for "good marriage tips" as she and Owens celebrated their second month as a married couple.

King was previously married to Brad McDill from 2007 to 2011 and Edmonds from 2014 to 2019.
