Meghan Markle made Vogue's list of the top ten best-dressed women in 2019.

The former actress quickly became a worldwide fashion icon when she married Prince Harry in 2018, so it's no surprise that she made this coveted list, but Vogue still revealed they had some specific reasons for including her.

"This has been a landmark year for HRH the Duchess of Sussex," Vogue said. "Having married last year, Meghan and Harry split from the Cambridges to form an independent royal household, bolstered by the birth of baby Archie, before lifting the lid on what goes on behind closed doors."

"Guest-editing British Vogue’s September issue, christened 'Forces For Change,' the Duchess highlighted a raft of inspiring female changemakers, placed the focus squarely on sustainable fashion, and consequently launched a capsule collection in collaboration with the charity of which she is patron, Smart Works," the publication continued. "Her streamlined, considered wardrobe is emblematic of a woman who epitomises modern-thinking royalty."

Accompanying Markle on the best-dressed list are Naomi Campbell, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Lupita Nyong'o, Zoë Kravitz, Tracee Ellis Ross, Gemma Chan, Pheobe Waller-Bridge, and Adwoa Aboah.

While all of those ladies no doubt have had some excellent style choices, some may notice that Markle's sister-in-law, Kate Middleton didn't make the cut. Kate Middleton has also been known as a worldwide style icon but this honor is not one that they will share. However, when it comes to royal duties the ladies can look forward to sharing a lot of time together.

Rumors of a feud between the Duchess' have swirled for a while now but that could soon be put to rest after the holidays. Following the Sussex's six-week hiatus, the two will be be "forced" to work together.

"I think after a festive break, both Kate and Meghan will know that joint ventures to support the Queen are not only part of their duty, but also good for the public image," royal commentator Kate Nicholl shared, adding that Kate understands that there is a "pressure" on her and Meghan to "save the royal family, to an extent."
