Meghan Markle Gave Kate Middleton A Thoughtful Birthday Present; Duchess Celebrates With Friends

Meghan Markle once gave her sister-in-law Kate Middleton a thoughtful birthday present.

The Duchess of Cambridge is turning 38 on Thursday. She is expected to take a break on her special day and celebrate it with her family.

In 2018, Middleton received a gift from the Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry’s wife reportedly gave Middleton a “dreamy diary.”

“Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present – a very smart leather-bound ‘dream diary’ for her thoughts and ideas which Kate loved,” a pal told The Sun.

Prince Harry and Markle are still in Canada, so they might not be able to join the Duchess of Cambridge on her birthday. On Sunday morning, Middleton was spotted wearing a multi-colored coat and a blue fedora hat by Hicks & Brown for an outing. She reportedly had an early birthday celebration with her pals that day.

According to People, Prince William and Middleton hosted their friends at their country home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk over the weekend. Among Middleton’s guests are her parents Carole and Michael Middleton, the Cambridges lifelong friend Tom van Straubenzee and fiancée Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe, and their friends James Meade and his wife Laura.

Also in attendance were Rose Hanbury and husband Dave Roksavage. Last year, the Prince William and Middleton’s marriage was plagued with infidelity rumors, with some alleging that the future king had an affair with the Marchioness of Cholmondeley.

The sighting of Rose and Dave at Middleton’s birthday should stop the rumors between Hanbury and Prince William. Apparently, they are happy with their spouses and the two couples are comfortable to be around each other, which only showed that the cheating rumors were not true.

Middleton also had two birthday parties last year. They celebrated the first one on Sunday at Anmer Hall after attending a church service with Queen Elizabeth II. On her actual natal day, they had another birthday celebration at home with Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Duke of Cambridge had an official engagement on Middleton’s birthday last year, but according to royal reporter Omid Scobe, he didn’t miss his wife’s special event. Prince William was already home when Middleton returned from the school run.
