Prince William Cheating On Kate Middleton Rumors Revisited: How Alleged Affair Started

Prince William was plagued with infidelity rumors last year. The Duke of Cambridge allegedly cheated on his wife Kate Middleton with their friend Rose Hanbury.

The story started with a claim that Middleton had a falling-out with Hanbury. She reportedly asked her royal husband to have Hanbury “phased out” from their inner circle of friends.

The Sun’s executive editor Dan Wootton reported that Middleton had a “fall-out” with her “glamorous best friend” Hanbury.

Prior to that, there were claims that the Duchess of Cambridge was threatened by the Marchioness of Cholmondeley as they vied to be the queen bee of the Turnip Toffs. The cause of the rivalry was not explained in detail. It was learned that they were pals but not best friends.

The rumored rift between Middleton and Hanbury shockingly spooled a new story, the rivalry became a love triangle with Prince William allegedly having an affair with Hanbury. Initially, it was reported that Prince William stepped in to his wife and Hanbury’s feud to broker peace because they enjoy having double dates with Rose and her husband David Rocksavage.

Hanbury and Rocksavage were present at the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s royal wedding. She was even hailed the best-dressed guest. She was also in attendance at Prince Harry’s first-ever state banquet in 2017. Hanbury has been part of the most important occasions that the royals celebrate.

Prince William’s cheating scandal intensified when Giles Coren confirmed it in a tweet by writing, “Yes. it is an affair.” However, he immediately deleted his controversial tweet but not before eagle-eyed netizens grabbed a screenshot of it.

Writer Nicole Cliffe shared her opinion about the rumored affair in a series of posts on Twitter. She believed that Prince William and Prince Harry’s frosty relationship had nothing to do with Meghan Markle but the former’s infidelity. She speculated that the future king told his younger brother about the affair and the Duke of Sussex didn’t support him.

Some were convinced with the rumors, but more were not. One netizen wrote that Prince William is too intelligent to cheat on his wife. Also, he has a very contented married life.
