Meghan Markle may be taking her sweet time before she would get pregnant again. However, royal fans are concerned that the Duchess of Sussex may already be quite old when she gives birth to her second child.

Prince Harry’s wife gave birth to their first child, Archie, at the age of 37. Three months later, the “Suits” alum turned 38 years old. As of late, Markle has not yet announced her second pregnancy, which means that her second baby will most likely be born when she’s already 40 or older.

According to the NHS, women who get pregnant much later in their lives are at a higher health risk. But pregnancy expert Katherine Graves told Express that there’s really nothing to worry about.

Even though Markle’s second baby may arrive when she already 40 years old, the Duchess of Sussex won’t definitely put herself at any risk. It is possible that Markle is still recovering from her first pregnancy that’s why she’s waiting a while longer to have a second child.

“But many women give birth in the first half of their 40s, so she has plenty of time to allow her body to recover from her first pregnancy before thinking of a second baby,” Graves said.

The pregnancy expert also noted that Prince Harry’s wife is knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to health and fitness. As such, she will most likely have a straightforward second pregnancy.

Throughout the past couple of months, there have been predictions that Markle will announce her second pregnancy this year. However, since it’s already November, it is unlikely for this to happen.

Weeks ago, Prince Harry and Markle embarked on their tour to South Africa. While there, royal fans were also convinced that the Duchess of Sussex will make an announcement. In fact, netizens thought that Markle dropped a major clue when she started recycling her maternity clothes.
