Meghan Markle Heartbreak: Princess Beatrice Could Snub Harry’s Son, Not Kate Middleton’s Children
KEY POINTS
- Princess Beatrice may not give Archie a special role at her wedding
- Princess Beatrice might not invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to her wedding
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex might not attend Princess Beatrice's wedding on May 29
Meghan Markle’s son could reportedly be snubbed by Princess Beatrice at her royal wedding.
While speaking with Express, Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati said that now that Princess Beatrice’s wedding date has already been confirmed, the attention of royal fans will be focusing more on the finer details of the royal wedding.
“And the early signs point towards key roles for George and Charlotte,” she said.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are expected to be tapped as Princess Beatrice’s page boy and bridesmaid, respectively. But according to the latest odds, there is very little chance for Markle’s son, Archie to be given a special role at the royal event.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently residing in Canada with their 10-month-old son. And even though Princess Beatrice will most likely invite the Sussexes to her wedding, royal fans are convinced that they might not attend the gathering.
“I doubt Meghan will go to Princess Beatrice’s wedding even if she and Harry are invited. I can’t see Meghan coming back from Canada with Harry and Archie to face the royal family to attend the wedding,” one royal fan tweeted.
Other royal fans think that Princess Beatrice might not invite Prince Harry and Markle since they are no longer official members of The Firm. However, it is important to note that Prince Harry and Princess Beatrice are cousins.
Meanwhile, supporters of Prince Harry and Markle think that the royal couple will skip Princess Beatrice’s wedding due to an entirely different reason. A source told The Sun last month that the “Suits” is not a huge fan of Prince Andrew and the sex scandal that he is involved in. As such, it is unlikely that Markle would want to be reunited with the Duke of York on May 29.
“Put it this way, she doesn’t view Andrew as one of the Family’s great assets and he’s not going to be one of the people she’s going to miss on her time away from the Windsors,” the source said.
