Meghan Markle Jealous Of Chelsy Davy Because She Made Harry Happier? Netizens Discuss

Prince Harry was in a longterm relationship with Chelsy Davy when they decided to call it quits. The latter reportedly realized that the royal life isn’t for her after she attended Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding.

Years later, the Duke of Sussex was introduced to Meghan Markle by their common friend, and the couple immediately hit it off. After over a year of dating, Prince Harry decided to ask for Markle’s hand in marriage.

Even though Markle ended up with Prince Harry, royal fans are convinced that she may still be jealous of Davy. On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan explained why this may be the case.

“In all honesty, If I were Meghan, I would be. I actually think Chelsy would have made Harry happier, but alas, Harry picked Meghan, and while I was over the moon for him at first, I think Meghan will eventually-and sadly-either divorce Harry or make him very unhappy,” the royal fan said.

One of the reasons why Markle may be jealous of Davy is because the latter has a happy family. The Duchess of Sussex, on the other hand, destroyed her family. She has not also spoken to her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., in over a year.

“She does not seem to really care about her family as she has made no effort to connect with them and didn’t even bother to call her father who nearly died. Despite many of her family members being good people who supported her for years, and even helped her land a job, Meghan decided, for whatever reason, that her entire family was not needed in her life-except for her mother,” the royal fan said.

But other royal fans don’t think that Markle is jealous of Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend. Bayley Connaught, a charity worker, said that the former actress has no reason to be jealous. After all, Markle is the one who married Prince Harry and her name will go down on history books. Davy, on the other hand, won’t even be a footnote.
