Meghan Markle Looks Like Mom Doria Ragland In These Rare Photos

Meghan Markle has clearly inherited her mom's genes.

The Sun shared throwback photos of the Duchess of Sussex with her mother, Doria Ragland. In one snap, Ragland is in her early 20s, and they can be mistaken as twins.

Another photo featured Ragland and Markle with Thomas Markle Sr. In the snap, both are all smiles and their similarities are undeniable. Markle inherits her African-American mom's hair. However, the former "Suits" star has a lighter skin tone as her dad, Thomas, is Dutch-Irish.

Ragland and Markle have a great relationship. In fact, the Duchess of Sussex was inspired to live a healthy lifestyle by her mom. Ragland is a yoga instructor and a social worker.

Prince Harry's wife described her mom as "free-spirited clinical therapist." She added that "both my parents came from little so they made a choice to give a lot."

Marke and her father are not on speaking terms at the moment. The royal is reportedly frustrated with her dad doing paid interviews. On the other hand, Thomas reportedly feels hurt because his communication with his daughter has stopped when she joins the royal family.

"I refuse to stay quiet," Thomas said. "What riles me is Meghan's sense of superiority. She'd be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her. [...] She became the woman that she is today thanks to everything I did for her. And did I get any recognition for it? Any thanks? She doesn't even speak to me now. How cold is that?"

Markle's brother accused her of abusing their father's love. According to Thomas Markle Jr., their father has always put Markle before him and their sister, Samantha.

"Throughout our lives, dad always put Meg first, above me and my sister, but if what he is saying is true it appears she is abusing his love for her," Thomas Jr. told Mirror. "It's selfish, cruel even. He gave her everything and now she is giving him nothing but hurt back."

Meanwhile, an insider said that Ragland can help Markle reconcile with her dad. According to the source, if there's a person who can talk some sense to Thomas, it would be his ex-wife.
