Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to release a new Netflix project after the conclusion of their six-part docuseries last week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex serve as executive producers on an upcoming documentary series titled "Live to Lead," which is set to premiere before the year ends.

The couple appeared in a trailer released by Netflix Monday for the project, which will highlight the work of various leaders and activists.

"This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said, 'What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived,'" Prince Harry said in the teaser.

"It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead," Markle added.

The docuseries will see leaders and activists "reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility [and] hope," People reported.

The show will include interviews with the late U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, climate change activist Greta Thunberg, social justice attorney and advocate Bryan Stevenson, New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, South Africa's national rugby union team captain and campaigner Siya Kolisi, feminist activist Gloria Steinem and anti-apartheid activist Albie Sachs, among others.

The trailer featured a portion of Thunberg's speech at the United Nations Climate Action Summit in 2019. "The eyes of all future generations are upon you and if you choose to fail us, we will never forgive you," she said.

"As leaders, we have the keys to create a sense of security and a sense of hope," Ardern said in one clip in the trailer, before it cuts to another scene where she can be seen giving someone a hug.

In the teaser, Prince Harry said that the series is "about people who have made brave choices."

"To fight for change and to become leaders," Markle added.

"And giving inspiration to the rest of us," the Duke of Sussex said. "To live, to lead."

The announcement of Prince Harry and Markle's new Netflix project came just days after the second and final volume of their docuseries "Harry & Meghan" dropped on the streaming platform.

In the first three episodes, Prince Harry and Markle talked about the early stages of their relationship and their marriage, while they focused on their 2020 royal exit and their relationship with the British royal family in the last three episodes of the series.

Prince Harry claimed in one episode that his older brother Prince William "screamed" at him over his decision to step back as a working member of the royal family.

Harry also alleged that he had nothing to do with the "joint statement" denying Prince William had bullied him and Markle out of the royal family.

"I couldn't believe it. No one had asked me permission to put my name to a statement like that. And I rang [Meghan], and I told her, and she burst into floods of tears. Because within four hours, they were happy to lie to protect my brother, and yet for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us," he said in one episode.

The Duke of Sussex said in the final episode that they were moving on and were not expecting a genuine apology from the members of the firm.

"I've had to make peace with the fact that we're probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology," he said in episode 6. "My wife and I, we're moving on. We're focused on what's coming next."

"Live to Lead" premieres on Dec. 31.
