Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not always had the most positive relationship with social media, but that may change thanks to the newest decision made by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

On Wednesday, the members of the British royal family shared a post celebrating the new year. In the caption, they revealed that they plan on continuing their tradition of "highlighting accounts that inspire, and that remind us of all the good that is happening in the world."

However, they are making one significant change as they move forward. This time around, the royals will only focus on one account each month. For January, the royal couple chose to highlight Good News Movement, an account run by journalists that only promotes good news. Their post can be seen below.

Meghan and Harry's decision prompted the account to post about their choice as well. "Their support will only multiply our efforts and good news will reign!" read their caption.

Social media, the press, and public perception have all been things that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced issues with in the past. Previously, the former "Suits" actress was accused of making a certain error on the Sussex Royal Instagram account in an attempt to bring more attention to herself. On another occasion, they chose to completely disable comments for a brief period of time.

However, they themselves have also used it as a tool to promote causes and companies that they believe are important on other occasions, which was illustrated by the former "Suits" actress' birthday post about a specific thing she bought last year.
