Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been social distancing in Tyler Perry’s mansion in Los Angeles but they are also accomplishing tasks from the comfort of their home. Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have surprised Crisis Text Line team when they appeared in their virtual meeting.

In the past weeks, the pair have been busy connecting to charities and organizations, including WellChild and Hubb Community Kitchen, virtually, Town & Country reported. Recently, Markle and Prince Harry joined the meeting of the Crisis Help Line group to underscore how crucial mental health is amid the coronavirus pandemic that has been harrowing fear across the globe.

“It’s not everyday that Meghan and Harry jump into your staff meeting and champion the work you do! Blessed to still be working during these crazy times!” employee Ricky Neal shared on Instagram but had since made his account private.

Markle and Prince Harry have yet to talk about the matter but it is worth noting that this is a nod to the couple’s advocacy on mental health, pushing for accessible resources for those suffering from psychological problems. Crisis Help Line provides free service all throughout the day for those needing someone to listen or are sad and feeling anxious, especially during this frightening time.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Markle and Prince Harry have teamed up with Prince William and Kate Middleton – the group collectively known as “Fab Four” – in May 2019 for Shout, which is similar to the Crisis Help Line. Shout is a help line as well in England, which aims to aid those who are suffering from mental health issues.

"At the heart of this service will be an incredible national volunteer community, one which needs to grow to allow us to support more people in crisis. We hope that many more of you will join us and be part of something very special," their joint statement read.

Prince Harry has had his bout with a mental health issue in the past that stemmed from the death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997. The husband of Markle admitted that he had to attend counseling to cope with the painful memory, Forbes reported.
