Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Warned About Ending Up Like Prince Andrew
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been warned about ending up like Prince Andrew.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are keen on keeping their baby away from the public eye. In fact, unlike the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, they never released official photos of baby Archie.
Prince Harry and Markle only shared a snap of their son during their photocall following the duchess’ delivery. On Father’s Day, they shared a snap of Archie, but it didn’t show his entire face.
According to royal photographer Arthur Edwards in a commentary piece for The Sun, Prince Harry and Markle’s son is already two months old but the public still do not know what he looks like aside from the shot taken three days after his birth. He felt that the couple is diminishing the public’s enjoyment by refusing to share details about their baby.
Edwards admitted that when he learned that only one press photographer was to snap Archie, he decided to join the Prince of Wales’ Germany tour. One asked him on the plane why he didn’t cover the birth of Prince Harry’s baby.
“Because I want to be with members of the Royal Family who want me to photograph them, not with Harry and Meghan who clearly don’t,” he responded.
Edwards felt that Prince Harry has changed and become so controlling. Prince William’s brother used to be someone full of joy and enthusiasm about everything he did.
Edwards warned the couple about their strategy and how they might end up like Prince Andrew.
“Harry and Meghan believe they have a role on the world stage — and with their A-list friends they probably do — but if they aren’t careful they will end up like Prince Andrew, who works tirelessly but nobody cares,” he continued.
Edwards also pointed out how Prince Harry is going down the approval ladder. He used to be the most popular member of the royal family but is steadily going down.
Tatler just released its Social Power Index and the result showed that Prince William and Kate Middleton lead the list. The magazine describes the couple’s invitation to their home as the “ultimate social trophy.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn’t make it into the top 10, but they were “crowned the king and queen of global glamour,” New Idea reported.
