Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s move to the U.S. is suspect and fake news, netizens say.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the U.K. and moved to Canada after announcing that they were stepping back as senior members of the royal family. Initially, many thought that they would be staying in the Commonwealth nation for good. However, just recently, it was reported that Prince Harry and Markle have already left Vancouver and moved to Los Angeles.

Several netizens did not believe the report and even called it “fake news.” According to them, it’s impossible for the royal couple to move during the global pandemic.

“They just made that up because she out-smarted them with the documentary.......and the fact that the trashy tabloids are in financial trouble, so they needed her, yet again, to try and sell their crap,” one wrote on Twitter.

“Trashy News they just fabricate it just as they usually do. Whatever they write I don't believe not one word of it. No one should believe them too,” another added.

There is also a video on YouTube, titled “Why The Meghan & Harry Move To California Story Is SUSPECT.” The video explains that the original source of the story is The Sun and the tabloid has a questionable reputation. Several reacted to the video, with many agreeing that it’s not true that Prince Harry and Markle already left Canada.

“I don't believe that this isn't a credible story. Yet again, Another FAKE NEWS STORY! NOT WHEN THE WORLD IS IN A LOCKED DOWN!” one commented.

“FAKE NEWS! NO ONE WILL TRAVEL NOW,” Suzie Que wrote.

“That was the greatest lies I had ever heard from the ruthless UK press so far. It was total nonsense how could anyone move around in this coronavirus time,” another online user opined.

“Hold on....as soon as Harry made it back to Canada they were in lock down and all travel was suspended as it was reported he made it home to his family just in time,” Crystall Scott added.

A different netizen also agreed that it’s fake news because the federal government in Canada has banned residents from leaving the country over a week ago. Also, Prince Harry and Markle were in self-isolation when they returned from the U.K. and their quarantine just ended a few days ago.

Meanwhile, according to sources, Prince Harry and Markle need President Donald Trump’s approval for them to enjoy the diplomatic protection in the U.S. The POTUS already responded and said he would not pay the royal couple’s security.
