Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and Pippa Middleton have adopted a very modern tradition ahead of their weddings.

Emily Hodgkin, a journalist for Express, said that all three women went on a short honeymoon with their partners before they tied the knot. Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank were recently spotted vacationing in Italy. Middleton traveled to St. Barth’s with James Matthews before they tied the knot. And Markle also joined Prince Harry to a short trip to Greece weeks before their wedding.

Hodgkin said that it is possible the couples go on a short vacation before their wedding to help keep them relaxed before the big day. After all, planning a big event is quite stressful.

In related news, Princess Eugenie and her older sister, Princess Beatrice, were reportedly given the same honor as Kate Middleton and Princess Diana. The royal siblings were featured within the pages of British Vogue 2018.

However, this is still quite similar to the late Princess of Wales, who graced the cover of the magazine in 1991, and Middleton, who was asked to appear on the front page in 2016. Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice were not shown on the magazine’s cover.

Edward Enninful, the editor of British Vogue, teased the siblings’ appearance on the publication.

“Essentially, we are taking on a journey – from our offices in central London, where I invited Bajan superstar Rihanna earlier this summer to talk diva-dom and diversity, to Royal Lodge in Windsor, where Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie welcomed Vogue into the heart of the royal family,” he wrote.

Princess Eugenie’s magazine appearance is also expected to arrive weeks before her wedding to Brooksbank. The couple will tie the knot on Oct. 12 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Their nuptials will be attended by the members of the royal family.
