Meghan Markle reportedly puts a common breakfast food over her face to give her skin a youthful glow.

Nichola Joss, a skincare guru, recently told The Sun that the Duchess of Sussex uses homemade facemasks made from breakfast oats. Markle reportedly whips up a concoction of coconut oil, honey and porridge to exfoliate her skin. She also uses turmeric in the paste to brighten her complexion.

“At home facemasks are amazing, and I fully endorse them. They’re easy, free, and you have full control of the ingredients you’re putting on your skin – which is why most of my clients love them,” she said.

According to the expert, the coconut oil found in the recipe helps create a soothing paste-like consistency. The turmeric helps for skin boosting, and the rolled oats and honey are used as exfoliating treatment.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry’s wife also uses a very affordable product to prevent spots. She previously said that she cannot live without Australia tea tree oil from Thursday’s Plantation.

“It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all. It’s inexpensive, it’s small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time,” she wrote on the lifestyle blog The Tig.

In related news, Markle also made headlines after her royal wedding to Prince Harry was blamed for the Duke of Sussex’s rapid hair loss. Amalie Henden, a journalist for Express, said that Prince Harry’s hair has gotten much thinner compared to how it was before May 19, 2018.

Hair loss expert Spencer Stevenson also told The Sun that some men rush into marriage because they feel as though no one will be interested in them once their receding hairlines worsen. The expert said that even though Prince Harry is currently sixth in line to the throne, his hair loss may have caused some of his anxieties.
