Meghan Markle Ridiculed: Duchess’ Behind-The-Scenes Video For Vogue Goes Viral, Has Netizens ‘Cringing’

Meghan Markle just released a behind the scenes footage from her previous partnership with Vogue magazine. Last year, Prince Harry’s wife guest-edited an entire edition of the fashion magazine.

According to Entertainment Tonight Canada, Markle’s special edition for Vogue became the fastest-selling edition of the magazine. More specifically, the magazine was sold out in just 10 days.

In the clip, Markle shares her excitement over the magazine. The Duchess of Sussex also spoke to some of the women featured on the cover of the publication.

At one point, Markle surprised British Vogue editor Edward Enninful with a party hat and some party favors to celebrate their partnership for the magazine. However, the harmless video is reportedly making a lot of people cringe.

A royal insider told Daily Mail that the behind the scenes video just opened Markle up for ridicule. In the clip, Prince Harry’s wife laughed hysterically when she heard one of the female guests curse.

“People have this idea that palace advisers are a bit po-faced but that simply isn’t true. Just look at the brilliant footage of the Queen when she took part in that James Bond skit with Daniel Craig to highlight the London Olympics. But this just leaves her [Meghan] open to ridicule. It just goes to show where their priorities lie. Likes and clicks online,” the source said.

On Twitter, Markle’s viral video drew a slew of different reactions from royal fans.

“The pair have every right to pat themselves on the back as the issue was British Vogue’s fastest-selling ever – it sold out in 10 days – and the biggest selling issue of the past decade,” Twitter user @DBrown99944 said.

“Fastest selling is not the same as highest-selling, people bought in bulk to resell as well,” Twitter user @KjerstinSommer said.

“Only yesterday @RFitzwilliams came on here and calmly lied about Meghan callously sacking the staff and then proceeding to post a celebratory Vogue video. It had already been reported that the staff was informed personally by Harry in January to stop the abuse! #MeghanMarkle,” Twitter user @brenbrenchie said.
