  • Meghan Markle was spotted carrying her son, Archie, for an outing Wednesday
  • The duchess' baby bump was visible in her black T-shirt, blue jeans and army green utility jacket
  • Archie looked adorable in his black beanie, gray sweatshirt, rolled jeans and white Velcro sneakers

Meghan Markle stepped out with her son, Archie, Wednesday after Prince Harry arrived home from the U.K., with her growing baby bump on display.

In the photos shared by Page Six, Markle was dressed casually in a black T-shirt that showed off her large baby bump, an army green utility jacket and blue jeans. The pregnant duchess paired the outfit with pointed-toe nude flats and a black face mask and also carried a space-themed lunch box in one arm.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Markle's 1-year-old son, whom the duchess was carrying in her other arm, looked adorable in his black beanie, a gray sweatshirt, rolled jeans and white Velcro sneakers. Little Archie also carried a small green backpack.

The mother and son's outing comes a day after it was reported that Prince Harry was already back in the U.S. after attending his grandfather Prince Philip's funeral in St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle Saturday.

The Duke of Sussex flew in to Los Angeles on an American Airlines flight that arrived Tuesday afternoon. He was then driven to their home in Montecito, California. The duke did not extend his stay in England to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's 95th birthday, which fell on Wednesday, several outlets noted.

Initially, reports had claimed that Prince Harry was considering staying longer in his home country and marking his grandmother's birthday with the royal family. Fans were hopeful that he would be by the Queen's side, especially after she had just lost her husband of 73 years. But apparently, the duke flew back to the U.S. before the Queen’s birthday because he was already in their mansion in Montecito by Tuesday.

Further, Prince Harry may have reunited with Markle without having "one-on-one" chats with either his father Prince Charles or his brother Prince William. The Duke of Cambridge and Prince of Wales reportedly didn't agree to speak to him without a witness for fear that Prince Harry's camp would leak a "twisted" version of their conversation to the press, unnamed insiders told Page Six.

However, they had a three-way "clear-the-air talk" at his and Markle's U.K. home, Frogmore Cottage, Page Six reported.
