Meghan Markle Subtly Protects ‘Happy’ Archie From Noise In This Adorable Video

Meghan Markle protected baby Archie from the noise during their public outing.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in South Africa for an official tour. Prince Harry and Markle brought their son along when they visited Archbishop Desmond Tutu at his foundation.

The public immediately fell in love with the adorable royal baby. In this clip shared on Instagram, Markle can be seen carrying Archie in her arms.

Archie seems to be in good mood as he flashes a big smile on his face. Markle brings her baby closer to her chest, casually turns her back from the camera and subtly covers Archie’s ears as the cameras click.

Prince Harry senses what his wife did and asks her something. Markle can be seen smiling back while looking at her husband saying, “He’s fine.”

“I love how the Princess holds on to baby Archie. She’s very protective of him. And baby Archie is happy,” one netizen commented on the clip.

Another netizen said that what Markle did was a little too much of being protective to her baby while they were in public. However, one royal follower defended the duchess.

“Not strange at all considering the abusive attacks & threats that have been made. Also did you hear all the cameras constantly clicking? Very daunting for a young baby when added to all the new sensations, faces, places & sounds. That’s a Mother’s instincts kicking in,” the user wrote.

Another user agreed that what Markle did was not strange. For her, the first-time mom was just making sure that her baby is comfortable.

“She’s making sure her baby is safe and not startled by all the noise and cameras!!!” the netizen wrote before adding that she was surprised Markle and Prince Harry still brought Archie out after all the unkind comments they received for keeping him from the public.

Following Archie’s appearance, Markle’s photo with his baby made headlines in different tabloids. However, some wondered because Prince Harry is missing in the pictures. Even if the duke was with them, he was not included in the photos and on the covers.
