Meghan Markle’s BFF Jessica Mulroney allegedly threw shade at Kate Middleton.

The netizens were not happy with what Markle’s best friend posted on social media because it appeared to them that it was a dig at the Duchess of Cambridge. Royal fans were referring to one of Mulroney’s posts on Instagram on Monday where she wrote, “Pretty pictures are pretty pictures. Strive to use your platform for good and spread stories of incredible people striving to make this world a better place.”

Mulroney’s post happened after Kensington Palace shared snaps of Holocaust survivors and their grandchildren taken by Middleton on Sunday. The pictures were meant to commemorate the 75th anniversary. It will be part of a Royal Photographic Society exhibit opening later this year featuring portraits of Holocaust survivors living in the U.K.

On Monday, Kensington Palace also shared snaps of Middleton meeting the survivors. The post also included a moving statement from Prince William saying, “Two of the most life-affirming people that I have had the privilege to meet.”

Royals fans didn’t like Mulroney’s post and attacked Markle’s best friend for her controversial statement.

“Dear Jessica. Kate is everything you can never be. Pretty being just one of them but petty and mean spirited are two things that she very definitely isn’t! She’s positively perfect so you can pass the message on to your friend that she can suck it up!!” one wrote on Twitter.

“So photos of Holocaust survivors are nothing but ‘pretty pictures’ what an insult to those people and to the Duchess of Cambridge. What exactly does Jessica do to make the world a better place? All I ever see her do is ride on thr coattails of her husbands family,” @EstherDay_ added.

“The irony of this coming from a woman who posts "pretty pictures" of herself in a bikini on her platform. Remind us Jessica, who is THAT helping??” @CissySt commented.

One user called Markle’s friend a “bully.” Another accused Murloney of being jealous of Middleton.

A different user questioned Mulroney because she also shares “pretty pics” of herself on social media and her controversial Instagram post makes no sense. “Shes literally putting herself amongst those people posting pics and NOT striving to make the world a better place...its actually quite ironic,” @tips_talk added.

In related news, Daniela Elser said that Middleton is the biggest loser following Prince Harry and Markle’s exit. The Duchess of Cambridge has been attacked by Markle’s fans and some even criticized her project.
