Kate Middleton Pressured: Duchess Restless, Has ‘Bouts Of Anxiety’ After Meghan, Harry’s Exit

Kate Middleton has bouts of anxiety after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s exit.

Many believe that Prince William and Middleton will be greatly affected following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to step back from their royal duties. The Cambridges are expected to take more engagements and Middleton seemed to be feeling the pressure already as the duchess appears to be restless. Lately, Middleton has been more and more visible due to her numerous engagements.

“Kate’s in a panic and has been having bouts of anxiety,” a source told Us Weekly. “She barely has time to rest, and when she does try to sleep, her mind is constantly racing.”

The publication noted that the pressure for the future king and queen to fulfill their responsibilities has doubled. Some are even worried about the duchess’ weight.

“She’s already stretched pretty thin,” the insider said before adding, “and now she’s really worried about how she’ll juggle the extra workload on top of her family life.”

Several also noticed that Prince William’s wife has been looking depressed lately. Over a week ago, Prince William and Middleton attended the U.K.-Africa Investment Summit at Buckingham Palace with Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex. Although the duchess was stunning in her silver shimmering red gown by Needle & Thread and Gianvito Rossi pumps, she looked sad and troubled for some royal fans.

“Kate Middleton Too thin & Looks depressed Royal trouble brewing?” one asked on Twitter.

Many also noticed that the duchess looked thin. One even described Middleton’s frame “skeletal.”

According to new.com.au’s royal correspondent Daniela Elser, Middleton is the biggest loser following Prince Harry and Markle’s exit from the royal family. Elser noted that she will always be compared to her sister-in-law. With Markle not under the royal family’s control anymore and with her and Prince Harry’s star appeal, they could be the next global phenomenon. Makle could even eclipse the future queen.

“Unfortunately for Kate, she faces having to bear the brunt of this royal world order. There is no getting away from the uncomfortable fact that no matter how unfair (or un-feminist) it is for Kate to be constantly pitched against Meghan, this situation is only going to be thrown into overdrive in the coming months and years,” Elser wrote.
