If it isn't one thing, it's another. As if Meghan Markle doesn't get enough criticism, she's come under fire yet again, this time for simply supporting a friend.

The Duchess of Sussex flew to New York to watch her good friend, Serena Williams, compete in the U.S. Open on Saturday. Although supporting a friend would typically be a good thing, critics say her actions were insulting to Queen Elizabeth.

No, it's not the fact that Markle traveled away -- commercial, for the record -- but more so what she ditched in order to do so. Mom-shamers have apparently had some difficulty grasping the concept that 4-month-old Archie was left at home. They consider the move "selfish," according to Cheat Sheet.

Add this to the fact that the 38-year-old and Prince Harry chose not to visit the Queen at her Balmoral estate this summer and it's practically a cause for uproar -- for mom-shamers and critics at least.

Despite all the controversy, Markle seems unphased and focused on the future. Thursday will mark the official end of her maternity leave as she launches her capsule collection with SmartWorks.

Keeping with her philanthropic ways, the collection will benefit those in need with one item being donated for each item purchased.
