Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s public display of affection is offensive to some people.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very tactile. They aren’t shy to hold hands or touch each other in public even when they are in official business.

One fan took to Qura and asked why the people are offended by the couple’s PDA. The question received mixed responses from the royal fans.

“Because she acts like a mooning teenager and inappropriately for her role in the royal family,“ Wendy Lavender, an International English teacher, commented.

“She is a 38 year old woman - now also a ‘geriatric mother’ (that’s the medical term for an older mum), a worldly-wise and twice/thrice married individual. She should have more maturity and dignity.”

Lavender suggested that Markle should modify her behavior and stop her hypocritical claims about various things.

“Because Meghan does not know how to act properly as a royal,” Melissa Marshall opined.

According to her, this is among the reasons why she was not happy when Prince Harry proposed to Markle just four months after they lived together and after they dated long distance for a year. She added that Prince Harry failed to give Markle a proper decorum as a member of the royal family.

She compared the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s courtship to that of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge which lasted for almost a decade. According to her, Kate Middleton had plenty of time to learn the ropes. On the contrary, Markle behaves as if she is still in Hollywood in the way she acts and poses for the camera.

Meanwhile, many said that they aren’t offended by Prince Harry and Markle’s public display of affection. However, some of them believe that it’s better if the couple avoids it.

“Not offended… it’s just not the thing. They should follow everyone else. Be ROYAL… they aren’t high school kids,” Denise Maguire wrote.

“Doesnt bother mean either way but she is back in acting mode over compensating hoping people notice,” Dani Bracha Yardley added.

In related news, Markle’s fans dubbed Prince William and Middleton “attention seekers” after the duchess flew to New York without any photos of her boarding the plane. However, some defended the Cambridges, with one saying that Markle probably took a private jet, and so there was no photo of her boarding a commercial flight.
