Meghan Markle’s Dad ‘Shouldn’t Play The Victim,’ ‘Show Some Dignity,’ Expert Claims

Meghan Markle’s dad, Thomas Markle Sr., has been encouraged by royal experts to stop playing the victim and show some dignity amid his ongoing family feud.

On New Idea’s “Royals” podcast, journalist Angela Mollard commented on Thomas’ recent interview with The Sun, where he urged Prince Harry to man up and called the Duke of Sussex arrogant.

According to Mollard, it seems that Thomas will always speak and agree to do interviews every single time he is offered a microphone. The expert also said that if only the former lighting director showed some dignity and didn’t speak so negatively about the royal family, he will get a greater chance of achieving what he wants.

Thomas has been urging his daughter and Prince Harry to talk to him and the other members of the Markle family. The “Suits” alum last spoke to her dad before her royal wedding on May 19. It has also been years since the former actress spoke with her half-siblings.

Meanwhile, Mollard also acknowledged the fact that Thomas wants to be a part of Markle and his future grandchild’s life. However, his presence actually provides a threat to his daughter and Prince Harry.

“If they don’t speak to him, he’s actually going to speak up even more. Not only is he playing the victim he’s also stating that he’s going to be more of a thorn in their side,” Mollard said.

In related news, Thomas is not the only Markle that has tried to reach out to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Earlier this week, Markle’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., invited her and Prince Harry to his wedding. According to Thomas Jr., his gesture is intended to help patch things up within his family.

Markle’s other half-sibling, Samantha Markle, has also reached out to the Duchess of Sussex several times. But every time Markle refuses to speak to them, the multiple sclerosis patient will throw shade at her and Prince Harry on social media.

Samantha most recently took back her New Year greeting for Markle and said that she should eat more chocolates to sweeten her disposition.
