Meghan Markle's Dad's Body Language In Their Old Photo Shows ‘Guarded’ Demeanor

Meghan Markle’s old photo with her dad, Thomas Markle Jr., was recently unearthed and analyzed by body language expert Judi James.

During her interview with Express, the Markles' photo from several years ago already showed how the Duchess of Sussex’s arguments with her dad must have been. James also said that Markle’s role as a peacemaker might have been inspired by her family background.

“Her body language is warm, tactile, and lacking in the kind of vanity or scene-stealing traits you might expect from a future actress, and she looks so keep to form and display strong and happy family and friendship ties. She looks like the tie that binds in her relationships and this role could have emerged as a result of her parents’ divorce when she was 6…” James said.

The body language expert went on to say that Markle might have been so devastated with her parents’ split and if she could only go through great lengths to prevent it from happening, she would have done everything in her power to do so.

In the photo analyzed by James, Markle is in her teenage years and she is wearing a striped t-shirt and pants. She is latching on to her dad’s shoulder with a huge smile on her face. Thomas, on the other hand, is wearing a long-sleeved polo shirt and jeans. He only has a small smile on his face and his hands are kept hidden inside his jeans’ pockets.

According to James, Thomas’ body language in the picture is quite complex.

“He looks rather guarded, leaning to one side with a mouth-clamp, down-turned smile and with his hands stuffed in his pockets rather than reciprocating in the much more tactile behavior from Meghan. Markle is much more open in her emotions and keen to show her feelings for her dad,” she said.

James also said that Markle’s body language made it seem as though she was trying to shower her dad with so much love but she’s getting a low response from him.
