Meghan Markle has suffered a lot of beating from the British press and the public since she dated Prince Harry. But contrary to all the bad things said about the Duchess of Sussex, her former trainer reveals the truth behind the controversial personality.
The former Hollywood actress is a known fan of fitness and was reported to be into boxing, martial arts, and kickboxing when she was still playing the role of Rachel Zane in the critically received legal-drama series “Suits.” During the time, Markle hired trainer to celebrities Jorge Blanco to help her train.
The fitness expert, who hailed from Zaragoza, Spain, gave an idea on how Markle is in real life in an interview with Vanity Fair and revealed he actually enjoyed working with her because she was “sympathetic.” Blanco, also known as Spaniard, has Chris Hemsworth, Robert Pattinson, Elsa Pataky, and Drake as clients.
Blanco also shared that Markle made it a point to converse with him in Spanish, although she did have an Argentine twang.
"I had a great time training with her because she is super sympathetic and also speaks Spanish, yes, with an Argentine accent," the guru told the outlet.
Express.co linked this accent to when then-20-year-old Markle worked in Argentina as a junior press officer for the American embassy. She was a student at the time taking up a degree in International Relations.
Blanco said he would be delighted to train Markle and Prince Harry in the future, an opportunity that he sees likely because of the recent relocation of the couple with their son to Los Angeles, where they have stayed since flying from Canada.
It was in January when the Sussexes announced they will be leaving the royal family and a few months after, they flew to Vancouver Island. They arrived in Los Angeles and have been calling Tyler Perry’s $18-million mansion temporary home, where they also celebrated Archie’s first birthday.
They have enforced additional security measures by installing screens surrounding the house for privacy reasons. Markle and Prince Harry are also allegedly shopping for a new home with at least a $12-million budget.
