Meghan Markle reportedly looks different after she gave birth to her son, Archie Harrison.

On the online forum site Quora, one royal fan said that the Duchess of Sussex’s lips and eyes changed after giving birth. The royal fan added that Prince Harry’s wife’s face looked exactly like how it once was before she became famous.

But Deanna Eppers, an avid follower and reader of the royal family, said that she doesn’t see the changes on Markle’s face. She said that all she sees is a woman who is going through postpartum.

“She looks good. Smiling, happy at Trooping the Color… Sure, Meghan will continue to slowly lose weight, and that might be what you’re seeing? I’m not sure? Was she heavier back then? That might make her face look different than pre-pregnancy? ” she said.

Scarlett P. Bassett, a former ballet tutor, said that she doesn’t agree that Markle’s face looks like the way it was before she became famous. But Bassett agrees that the Duchess of Sussex’s facial appearance has somehow changed. She also said that it’s very common for moms who have just given birth to look a bit different.

“There is a new glow, especially if breastfeeding and usually a little water retention, and, more often than not still a little weight gain around the face which sometimes never leaves. Even though I am now thinner than I was before my pregnancies my face looks a little rounder than it did, I have no idea why that happens,” she said.

Markle gave birth to Archie on May 6 at the Portland Hospital in London. Following Archie’s birth, Markle and Prince Harry were criticized for not introducing their son to the world immediately. The royal couple decided to wait for two days before they stepped out in public with their son.

Since then, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been criticized for wanting to raise Archie as a private citizen.
