Meghan Markle's Mom Doria Ragland Compared To Princess Diana For This Reason
Meghan Markle's mom is good at evading the press just like Princess Diana.
Recent reports claimed that Doria Ragland has made secret visits to London for her daughter. Robert Jobson explained to Australia's "Sunrise" on Channel 7 how the Duchess of Sussex's mom maintains a low profile during her trips, so the public won't easily recognize her.
"Doria, although she has been at that royal wedding, if she puts a baseball cap on you can get on a plane and no one would necessarily recognise her," the royal expert said (via Daily Express). "She has had a starring role in the big Royal Wedding, it doesn’t mean that everyone in the world is going to see her."
"The point of it is, there is also liaison with SO14 the royal protection squad," Jobson continued. "If Meghan had gone out to pick her up then she would have two or three police officers with her, supporting her, that would also make sure the whole system works. So there are systems in place."
The expert went on to share how Prince William and Prince Harry's mom did the same. According to Jobson, Princess Diana also loved to keep a low profile whenever she stepped out.
"Princess Diana used to go off with Provence with her bodyguard Ken Wharfe and nobody even knew they had gone away. So it does happen," he said.
According to Princess Diana's bodyguard, she had always wanted to live a normal life. Unfortunately, she couldn't live the lifestyle she hoped for after marrying Prince Charles as joining the royal family is a different game. Ken Wharfe said that it's not normal to have a number of shifts, access to more than one palace and enjoy luxury holidays and have a helicopter in the backyard.
In related news, an insider claimed that Ragland is taking granny duties, which intensified rumors that Prince Harry and Markle are expecting. The yoga instructor is apparently training at a distant center to avoid making a buzz.
"Doria’s been taking newborn care specialist classes with the Cradle Company in Pasadena, Los Angeles. Two of the teachers, Brandi and Hannah, are training Doria at her home half an hour away to avoid attracting unwanted attention," an insider said.
