Meghan Markle’s ‘Opinionated Personality’ Reportedly Caused Prince Harry’s Decision To Leave Palace
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will reportedly leave Kensington Palace in favor of Frogmore House next year.
Several reports unveiled possible reasons for the royal couple’s decision, which includes a rift between Markle and Kate Middleton, as well as a feud between Prince William and Prince Harry.
But Rebecca English, a royal correspondent for Daily Mail, said that Markle has specific traits that encouraged Prince Harry to get away from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as soon as possible.
A source told English that the “Suits” alum’s opinionated personality and Prince Harry’s desire to allow Markle to get her own way is what really made them decide to transfer to Frogmore Cottage.
Another source described Prince Harry a dictatorial and said that he wants to move out of the palace not just to appease Markle but also to escape the “goldfish bowl” of royal life for the sake of his marriage and his firstborn.
“It is a move that the sixth in line to the throne believes is for the best of reasons. And yet his decision to take on the secluded Frogmore Cottage, in the grounds of Windsor Estate, close to his adored grandmother, has raised eyebrows. Not least because, as has been reported many times over, the couple had eyed up the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester’s home, Apartment 1, at Kensington Palace, right next to the Cambridge’ 22-room home,” English wrote.
The royal commentator also debunked initial reports claiming that the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester don’t want to move out of the property. English said that they don’t mind turning their home over to Prince Harry and Markle.
Despite the couple’s upcoming move, Prince Harry and Markle will continue to be involved in the causes close to their hearts. But starting next year, they have to endure a 25-mile commute just to head to London.
In related news, English also said that Prince William and Prince Harry, as well as their wives, didn’t have a falling out. The royal siblings have simply grown up.
