Meghan Markle's Prada Dress At Queen's Leaders Awards Criticized: 'Another Failed Attempt'
Meghan Markle's look during her latest engagement with Queen Elizabeth II didn't impress everyone.
On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out together to join Queen Elizabeth II at the Queen's Leaders Awards. For the outing, Markle opted to wear a pink Prada dress and may have taken some style cues from Kate Middleton's signature look and makeup. However, a number of netizens remain unimpressed.
"Another failed attempt by Meghan," noorkay wrote.
"She looks like a failed chef in that dress," another user named TaekwonCrawfish posted.
"Meghan Markle wearing synthetic wig and almost the same extact dress she wore the last three outings. Boring. Tacky #duchessofsusSEX," Dara gloss commented.
This is not the first time that netizens slammed Markle's look. Her messy hair bun and choice of hat also received criticism in the past.
Earlier this month, Markle joined Queen Elizabeth II in her visit to Cheshire. The Duchess of Sussex let her hair loose and since it was windy it covered her face which bothered a number of netizens.
"Can Meghan please opt for shorter hair or have it styled - so it does not cause her to pull it off her face, soooo annoying and distracting," Maryanne Andrew wrote on Twitter.
"Why does Meghan play with her hair, it's like she is all insecure and it's a coping mechanism. She was a very confident, outgoing girl only a few months ago. Please tie it up / back at events. Or, have a stylist STYLE it! Thanks," she added in another post.
When Markle visited Brixton with Prince Harry, one user pointed out her messy hair bun. "The untidy topknot was not becoming. Ok these two need to grow up they aren’t teens or in their 20’s anymore. Harry is early 30’s and Meghan is almost 40. She can’t keep pushing the envelope, eventually the Queen is going to step in and take her to task. We need dignity," Judy wrote.
Markle's hat during her first Christmas service with the royals was also criticized. Her headpiece was likened to chocolate and a rude emoji. It was considered a fashion faux pas by many.
The Duchess of Sussex's fashion choices have received mixed reactions from her critics and fans. Some are honest in what they dislike in her wardrobe while others are satisfied and happy with her look.
