Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Coming After Doria Ragland For ‘Lack Of Effort’

Meghan Markle’s half-sister Samantha Markle is now targeting the duchess’ mother, Doria Ragland.

Last week, millions of Brits celebrated the arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s baby boy Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. However, Markle’s estranged dad Thomas Markle Sr. and some of her family members on the father’s side felt left out.

Samantha spoke up about the matter and said that she was delighted for the arrival of her nephew. However, she believes that their dad should be part of the celebration for Archie’s sake because “being excluded is like a dagger through his heart.”

Samantha also felt pity for the baby because he missed the chance to get to know someone who is creative and a loving person. She hoped that Markle’s mom would step in and encourage the duchess to reconcile with their father.

“She could have said ‘get your dad out here’,” Samantha told Mirror on what Ragland could have done to end their family rift.

“But sadly there seemed to be a lack of effort.”

According to Markle’s sibling, they are always desperate to heal the rift. However, this time, it’s up for Prince Harry’s wife to reach out to them. She hoped that motherhood would soften Markle.

“Life is short and precious so I hope having the baby will soften her feelings and she will do the right thing,” Samantha added.

However, Samantha’s own mom Roslyn Markle didn’t share her enthusiasm to introduce Archie to Thomas. In fact, she warned Markle to keep her baby away from Thomas because the latter is an “awful father” and he would not be a great grandfather to Archie.

Roslyn added that while Thomas portrays himself as a loving father, he wasn’t really like that to their two children during their marriage. She said that Thomas won’t change.

Markle used to be close to her dad, she even appointed her to be the one to give her away on her big day. However, days before Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding, Thomas made headlines for cashing in on her daughter by staging a photoshoot.

Then he canceled his attendance at the wedding claiming that he had major heart surgery. However, one source said that he only faked it because he didn’t have the guts to face the royal family following his scandal and to avoid further embarrassment. Since then, Markle stopped talking to him.
