Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Goes On Twitter Rant After Not Seeing Duchess

Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, recently went on a Twitter rant after it was revealed that she didn’t have the opportunity to meet the Duchess of Sussex while in London.

“I guarantee that 99% of you if you could meet my dad, would love him and want to give them a big hug. He is a sweetheart and might be a little shy but he has a huge heart so it is very wrong to misinterpret him,” she wrote (via Daily Mail).

Samantha’s tweet came six days after her publicist announced that she will be heading to the United Kingdom to reach out to Prince Harry’s wife. The book author claimed that she and her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., have tried to get in touch with Markle but failed.

On Sunday, Samantha also slammed the “lowlife” media who she thinks is just regurgitating the rumors about her family.

“What is amazing about these lowlife journalists is they just regurgitate other rumors. They don’t even write their own stuff. All hearsay and a joke,” she tweeted.

But despite not being able to contact Markle and Prince Harry, Samantha revealed that she’s been having the best time in the United Kingdom.

“Having a wonderful time in London! British people have been so lovely and helpful,” she wrote.

Last week, Samantha rep posted a lengthy tweet about her desire to communicate with Markle regarding their dad’s failing health.

“Samantha is coming to the UK after making numerous attempts in private to arrange a one on one meeting with the Duchess of Sussex to discuss their 74-year-old father’s health. I fear Meghan may not be made aware of these discreet attempts and therefore making this public is the only option we have left. I currently have Samantha in Europe with just one short flight away. This DOESN’T need to be public, we would prefer to keep this private. Samantha is coming to the UK this week, like it or not,” the tweet read.
