Meghan Markle’s Sister Samantha Markle-Grant Makes Twitter Public After Defending Their Dad
Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle-Grant, recently made her Twitter public after she defended their dad, Thomas Markle.
On Friday, Samantha slammed Fox for claiming that Markle and Thomas do not communicate with each other. The mom of three was also upset over the fact that the network reported Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, will be the one to walk her down the aisle.
According to the author of “The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister,” Markle and Thomas talk to each other on the phone every day. She also said that Thomas will be the one to walk Markle down the aisle during her May 19 wedding to Prince Harry.
After writing a series of posts, Samantha encouraged tabloid writers and reporters to publicly apologize to her dad for saying that he won’t be part of Markle’s wedding.
However, the 52-year-old still hasn’t confirmed if she will has been invited to her sister’s nuptials. There have been reports suggesting that Markle will have a maid of honor and not a chief bridesmaid at her wedding. Some publications noted that Samantha may be part of her sister’s entourage.
On the contrary, a source told E! News that Samantha won’t be Markle’s maid of honor because she doesn’t have a relationship with her younger sister.
“Samantha Grant doesn’t have a relationship with Meghan Markle and she never has. As they were 17 years apart, they were never raised in the same house. Meghan was raised as an only child by her loving parents,” the source said.
However, Samantha previously said that Markle grew up in two houses – Doria Ragland’s home and Thomas’ house after they got divorced. She also said that Markle had a huge family that loved and supported her ever since she was a kid.
The controversial sister also said that she has been misquoted by tabloids in the past that’s why it seemed as though she and Markle were feuding. “The tabloids really milk that for all it’s worth… We’re so normal,” she said (via Evening Standard).
