Meghan Trainor Buys Mansion Ahead Of Due Date; Becomes Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton's Neighbor

Meghan Trainor gifted herself a perfect Christmas gift weeks ahead of her due date by splurging lavishly on a mansion in Los Angeles’ Encino.

According to Variety, the mansion cost her a whopping $6.6 million, and she now shares the neighborhood with musicians Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Selena Gomez, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Lopez.

As per the report, the “All About that Bass” hitmaker's new mansion is spread over an area of 1.1 acres. While it is believed to be a gorgeous home, it remains hidden behind 10-foot gates and massive hedges. There is reportedly a “massive security system,” and tall trees and terraced gardens are some of its other features.

The entrance is said to be glitzy and opulent with a foyer featuring a double staircase and customized chandeliers with an “appearance of a diamond waterfall.” Moving past the entrance, there is a living room with a fireplace that is currently being used as a giant arcade featuring a pool table, pinball machine, and more, Variety reported.

Alongside, dining and family room, the house boasts of a gourmet kitchen and a “stunning black-and-white private office.” As for the master bedroom, it comes with its own lounging and sitting space, dual showroom closets, a lavish “spa-style bath,” and a balcony overlooking the verdure gardens and pool.

It is said that the house was previously owned by Doug Jordan, a rapper professionally known as TMG Fresh. The place was sold by the rapper at a loss of $35,000, the media outlet reported.

The purchase comes just days ahead of the songstress's due date as she is in just the final weeks of pregnancy. Married to actor Daryl Sabara, the 27-year-old singer and songwriter is expecting her first child with the husband. They announced their pregnancy in October 2020. Since then, the pair have been keeping their fans updated with their pregnancy journey.

In her recent interviews, she talked about her struggles and challenges of being pregnant in a pandemic era.

"I haven't seen a human being except [for] my family because I'm too scared. Or we all get tested right before that moment and see each other. But I don't have friends and I'm okay with that because I'm too scared to hang out with you,” she told E! News.

Trainor and Sabara are expecting a baby boy in Feb. 2021.
