Meghan Trainor is grateful for the support of her fans amid a recent misfortune involving her dad.

She wrote: “I’m with my dad now. Thank you for all your sweet messages. It was all very scary but he is the strongest man I know”
Among those to show support under Meghan’s latest post are artists Nicki Minaj and Normani, who each left heart emojis in the comments.
Others like Jennifer Love Hewitt commented: “Sending you all my prayers!!!! “
“Yes he is!!!!” record producer Ester Dean cosigned Meghan’s comment about her father.
Model Madeline Stuart, who posed with Trainor at The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection earlier this month, added: “So happy your dad is ok, thinking of you and sending love to you both.”
As TMZ reports, Gary was struck by a driver while crossing a busy street near the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles on Feb. 21. He was transported to a nearby emergency room and is currently listed as being in stable condition.
The driver, who waited to speak with responding police officers, said that the singer’s father was dressed in dark attire and she did not see him in time to stop her vehicle.
The accident happened just weeks after an episode of “The Voice UK” aired during which Gary showed off his own musical talents. The performance took place after the “All About That Bass” star, who is a judge on the program, revealed how close she was with her family and how often they travel with her. Meghan went on to reveal that her father was a former band teacher, which led to her fellow judges to request a performance.
She shared the clip of the moment on her Instagram calling Gary her “superstar.”
As TMZ reports, Gary has reportedly helped his daughter with several of her early career songs, such as "Cupid." The pianist has also attended a number of major events with his celebrity daughter, such as the iHeart Radio Music Awards.
