Melania Trump is, undeniably, one of the most followed women today. Besides being the wife of U.S. President Donald Trump, the Slovenian-American former model has, also, been making headlines because of her fashion style and “failure to intervene” in her husband’s controversial policies. Recently, a number of netizens attacked the First Lady again after a clip of her breaking military protocol during the Veterans Day Parade made rounds online.

For starters, President Donald Trump is the first-ever sitting executive to grace the New York City Veterans Day Parade on Monday. Vice President Mike Pence and Melania were also in the said event. However, onlookers noticed that the First Lady broke the protocol when she failed to put her right hand over her heart during the playing of Taps.

Critics of Melania Trump took to social media to express their disappointment on her lack of hand placement. “She is probably the worse one, posed nude for pictures, illegally got her citizenship, didn’t even put her hand over her heart yesterday during the national anthem, obviously doesn’t like children as she agreed with taking them away from their families, etc. _ ,” Kathy Zambrano wrote on Twitter. “I was watching that morning; she did NOT put her hand over her empty place for her heart,” another user stated.

There were also a few who lambasted Melania’s ensemble during the event. “Is Melania wearing a mock military jacket as if she's attending a halloween party? Non of the Trumps served, but they did successfully cut veterans benefits...” a netizens said. “Take off your sunglasses and show some respect for Americans during a solemn ceremony. Or, is this your double and you're busy shopping in NYC?” Dee Rose wrote. Melania has yet to comment on her critics.

Meanwhile, the backlash came amid the speculations that Melania Trump and President Donald Trump are on the brink of divorce. Split rumors sparked when Carl Anthony, a historian who specializes in the presidency, claimed that Melania is more alive sans her husband. “One can’t help but notice how much more animated and expressive Melania Trump is when she is on her own,” he said in 2018. “It’s a chance for her to shine,” Carl added.

President Donald Trump was also accused of cheating on Melania Trump with adult film superstar Stormy Daniels. Reports have it that Stormy was paid $130,000 to keep silent about her “sexual encounter” with the businessman-turned-politician in 2006. Because of this, the couple is said to be thinking about filing for divorce already.

However, neither of Donald Trump nor Melania Trump has confirmed these rumors up to this writing. Hence, these reports should be taken with a grain of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
