Melania Trump Humiliation: Netizens Share Possible Reasons Why Donald Was Quick To Shut FLOTUS Down

Melania Trump is considered as one of the most talked-about members of the first family today. Since she assumed the role as the First Lady of the United States from Michelle Obama, the former model was bombarded with several issues and controversies. There were even reports suggesting that even Melania is not a fan of President Donald Trump.

Recently, the POTUS lambasted Melania for publicly announcing her New Year’s resolution. Barron Trump’s mom said that she wishes for world peace in 2020. However, the President interrupted and stated the FLOTUS should not be talking about her resolution loudly. Melania Trump, then, corrected herself and said she should not have revealed her wish as she might have jinxed it.

Avid followers of the FLOTUS wondered why President Donald Trump has to correct his wife in front of the members of the press. This, then, prompted some netizens to share their theories as to why the POTUS was quick to shut down his wife at the time.

“Just wow. Wonder if she knew what was coming? Or just bad trimming on her part,” Larry Thompson wrote on Twitter. “No wonder Trump told Melania to shut the fuck up when she hoped for world peace as her New Year’s Resolution,” another netizen said.

“She said 'peace on the world' was her New Year's "resolution", which indicates that she doesn't understand the meaning of the word,” a third Twitter user shared. “When Melania told reporters she wished for peace around the world on New Year’s Eve and Trump jumped in and disparaged her by adding his opinion....I got a strange feeling. Now I know why,” Stitchin Kate commented.

There were also some who advised Melania Trump to never speak about world peace again. “Dear @FLOTUS, please never wish peace in the world again. It seems to have backfired,” a fifth netizen stated. “Hey @FLOTUS How’s that Peace on World thing working out for you this morning?” another Twitter user said. Melania has yet to comment on these remarks.
