Melania Trump Lambasted Over Controversial Tweet; Mocked Over ‘Be Best’ Campaign
KEY POINTS
- Melania Trump gave her millions of Twitter followers an update on her "Be Best" campaign
- The FLOTUS was lambasted over her tweet
- The first lady was mocked over her accent, nude photos, and more
Melania Trump was recently lambasted on Twitter after she posted an update regarding Be Best’s latest initiative.
“Today’s @HHSgov & CMSgov announcement is aimed at promoting more coordination and integration of the care of some of the most vulnerable mothers and their children: those affected by the opioid crisis. The #BeBest initiative continues to support work that combats opioid misuse,” she tweeted.
Netizens quickly slammed the FLOTUS by saying that she should be using a different hashtag. Instead of calling her campaign “Be Best,” it should be called “#BeGone.”
“The #BeBest initiative hasn’t worked to do a damn thing!!! It’s as big a joke as Donnie #DoBetter #impeached45,” Twitter user @RoslynRena said.
Other Twitter users threw shade at Melania and the fact that she used to work as a porn star. After one of her supporters said that the first lady is the best, Twitter user @ChaseyCharms said that she loves Barron Trump’s mom’s nude photos.
And after one supporter said that Melania looks stunning, Twitter user @MrsNiceGuy20191 sarcastically agreed.
“Yeah, for a 50-year-old Russian prostitute,” she wrote.
“Sad when the foreigner with the hard accent communicates better than the blob born and raised in private schools in the USA. To be fair, I’m positive someone else wrote this for her too,” Twitter user @chinooly said.
“Oh, please. It’s a slogan. A catchphrase… and not even a smart-sounding catchphrase. This is an amazing program said no one ever,” Twitter user @LisainNJUSA fired back.
Earlier this week, the FLOTUS was also lambasted after the Trump family Christmas card was released. Chris Murphy, a senator from Connecticut, was one of the first people who shared a photo of the Trump family Christmas card.
He said that it was delivered by a White House staff alongside a scathing Nancy Pelosi letter. Eagle-eyed netizens immediately noticed how similar Melania’s signature was to President Donald Trump.
But when MSNBC turned the Christmas card story into news, they were also slammed for it.
“This Pulitzer worth investigative news right here,” Twitter user @ArbisonJon said.
“Journalism-ing… this ain’t it,” Twitter user @H2oVolk said.
“This is news?” Twitter user @CJClarke said.
