Melania Trump has been misinterpreted by many people, with some claiming that she’s dumb simply because she was a model.
Many have preconceived notion when it comes to the First Lady of the United States’ mental capacity. There was a time that the hashtag #FreeMelania trended online because many thought that she was not happy in the White House. Some even questioned her marriage to President Donald Trump, but those concerns had no basis, according to credible sources.
Roger Stone, Trump’s former campaign advisor spoke about the FLOTUS. According to him, some easily judge the FLOTUS’ mental capacity because of her former profession as a model. However, he said that those who believe that she is dumb because of her modeling career are wrong.
“People say, ‘Oh, she’s a model, therefore she must be dumb.’ There’s nothing dumb about her,” Stone said, per Express.
“She’s a balancing influence on him. She’s the one who ultimately said, ‘You know, Donald, stop talking about running for president and do it… And if you run, you’re going to win.’”
Meanwhile, according to Chris Christie, an American politician and former governor of New Jersey, there is more to Melania than meets the eye.
“This is not some wallflower; this is somebody who is self-confident and self-assured,” he said.
He also added that those who claimed that the First Lady does not love her husband are “misreading the signs.”
Meanwhile, Sean Spicer also talked about the FLOTUS’ influence on her husband in Mary Jordan’s new book “The Art of Her Deal.” The Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist have interviewed over 100 White House insiders to learn more about Melania. According to Spicer, the FLOTUS is indeed very influential.
“Melania is very behind-the-scenes but unbelievably influential,” Spicer, the president’s first White House press secretary, told Jordan.
“She is not one to go in and say, ‘Hire this person, fire this person.’ But she lets the president know what she thinks, and he takes her views very seriously.”
In related news, Melania was snubbed on Showtime’s “The First Ladies.” The drama series features several first ladies including Michelle Obama, but not her.
