Melania Trump shares an inspiring moment with her Be Best campaign.
The first lady’s Be Best campaign aims to promote the youth’s well-being. It is also an advocate against cyberbullying and opioid abuse. Many criticized it by calling Melania’s campaign insincere and unsuccessful. However, President Donald Trump’s wife continues it because she finds it inspiring.
Melania shared a photo of her with a group of Safety Patrol Students from West Gate Elementary School in Florida on Instagram. The photo was taken 10 months ago when the FLOTUS visited the school.
“A great afternoon at the @WhiteHouse, reconnecting with the wonderful students from West Gate Elementary school. Inspired by how these children are growing into the best versions of themselves. #BeBest,” she wrote in the caption.
Melania visited them as part of her Be Best campaign because the school has devised a special program to eliminate bullying inside the classroom. The FLOTUS kept her visit private by not announcing it. Also, no members of the media accompanied her when she showed up at the school.
Melania’s post garnered warm response from her followers. Several called her “lovely lady.” One even called her “the greatest 1st Lady ever. Period.” Some also thanked the president’s wife for her efforts for the schoolchildren.
“Thank you for bringing so much grace and charm to America,” williamdchisholm wrote.
Meanwhile, Trump has also bragged about his wife’s modeling career. The POTUS described Melania as “one of the most successful supermodels.”
Trump was referring to Melania’s covers and features on major magazines. He added that his wife is popular, brilliant and wonderful.
However, many didn’t agree with Trump. Several netizens lambasted the first couple over Donald’s claim. One even said that he lied and exaggerated about everything.
“Somebody should explain to him that saying something doesn’t make it true,” one commented on Twitter.
Meanwhile, many also said that they didn’t hear about Melania until Trump ran for president, implying that she was really not popular as what her husband claimed her to be. One even mocked the FLOTUS by writing that no one knew her in the “modeling community” but she’s known in the “escort community.”
