  • Melania Trump was defended by her supporters.

Melania Trump was recently called a liar and a gold digger on social media.

Earlier this week, the FLOTUS shared a series of photos at the White House. While there, she met up with a group of children and designed snow globes with them.

President Donald Trump’s wife also colored and completed puzzles while at the annual children’s holiday party. On her Twitter account, the first lady said that it’s always wonderful sharing the joy of Christmas with kids.

However, one critic of the FLOTUS called her a fraudulent immigrant.

“I would not want this gold digger, liar, birther, and fraudulent immigrant anywhere near my child ever,” Twitter user @gholoway88 wrote.

Another person said that there’s something missing from the FLOTUS’ photos with the children and it is images that show her actually interacting with them.

“Or kids smiling for that matter,” Twitter user @BrionnaL added.

“Was she even there?” Twitter user Schmaltby sarcastically said.

But some supporters of the first lady also came to her defense. Twitter user @Douglas72466787 explained why he thinks Melania didn’t interact with the kids in the photos.

“I don’t believe there are any adults interacting with the kids on those pics? It’s about the kids, take your phony political [expletive] and go play on Schumer's site. Or would that bore you?” he said.

“Do you have to be critical of everything? Geez, she is doing something nice and you just have to be so negative. I would hate to be you,” Twitter user @DragonPhoenixR2 wrote.

Meanwhile, the FLOTUS also made headlines this week after Kate Bennett, the author of “Free, Melania” shared a surprising detail regarding President Trump’s wife’s “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket.

“I believed, and still do, that the jacket was a facetious jab at Ivanka and her near-constant attempts to attach herself for positive administration talking points,” she said.
