Melania Trump looked stunning in her Gucci coat on Memorial Day.
On Monday (May 25), the First Lady stepped out and joined President Donald Trump at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. They paid respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Melania was stunning in her $3,500 double-breasted wool coat designed by Gucci. She paired her coat with matching white heels, Daily Mail reported.
The FLOTUS watched on while the POTUS participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the cemetery in honor of the members of the U.S. military who have lost their lives. Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen Pence, and Defense Secretary Mark Esper and his wife Leah Esper, were also present.
Melania loves white Gucci coats. According to the tabloid, she owns at least two more in addition to the one she wore on Monday.
The First Lady was photographed wearing a $3,980 belted wool coat from Gucci’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection at the Governor’s Spouses’ luncheon held in the Blue Room of the White House in January.
Also, in September 2018, Melania wore another white Gucci coat with blue-collar and wrists design when she met with Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda at the White House.
The FLOTUS shared photos taken from the ceremony on Twitter to keep her followers updated.
“We lay this wreath to pay respects to all of our courageous service members & fallen heroes. You gave your lives for our nation & countless others around the world. You have served with honor & we thank you for your defense of our freedoms. #MemorialDay @ArlingtonNatl,” she wrote in the caption.
Melania’s post received mixed reactions from her followers. Some criticized her, but several also thanked her.
“I don’t understand why you feel the need to show photos from an event we already know you’re supposed to be attending. It’s all about show and photo ops and never about empathy or caring. Ever,” one commented.
“Best FLOTUS in history,” @jonathan_laymon wrote.
“What a classy First Lady,” @DebbieD24 stated.
