Melania Trump’s “little secrets” have been exposed in the new biography about her.
Pulitzer-Prize-winning journalist Mary Jordan released her book about the First Lady entitled “The Art of Her Deal” this month. In a phone interview with Yossi Melman of Haaretz, the author explained how and why the book discusses the FLOTUS’ “little lies.”
Jordan’s book claims that Melania did not complete her degree in architecture, did not receive huge salaries for her modeling work and only speaks Slovenian and heavily accented English, not five languages as is widely reported. Jordan also said that the Trumps refused to present documentation to the public that would confirm Melania’s history.
“None of the people I spoke to, except for her family, knew anything about her past before she met Donald. She simply made it disappear,” Jordan said.
Jordan also said that Melania and Trump are much more similar than people think. Both are passionate creators of their own history.
“He refuses to reveal his tax returns and she compartmentalized her past and never talked about it,” Jordan added.
“She’s a kind of lone wolf who acts quietly and maintains secrecy, and that was useful for him. She is very smart and savvy. She flatters him, but she also tells him the truth when something is not working.”
When Melman asked Jordan why she wrote the book, the author said that she just wanted to know who the First Lady really is and discovered more.
“My purpose in writing the book was to find out who she really is. The real Melania Trump is much more interesting than the image people have. People claimed she didn’t want to be a first lady,” Jordan explained.
“But I found her to be more politically ambitious than people thought.”
Jordan also claimed in her book that the POTUS and FLOTUS don’t spend so much time together in comparison to other couples. However, they are not bothered by their arrangement because they are “happy to be separated.”
Nevertheless, Melania is still the first person that Trump calls after making a speech because he trusts her. The First Lady also makes it a point to watch his speeches on TV. Roger Stone, Trump’s former campaign advisor also claimed previously that Melania has strong influence on her husband, as per Express
