Melania Trump’s Son Barron Always Looks ‘Sad’ In Photos; Netizens Speculate Why

Melania Trump and Donald Trump’s only child, Barron Trump, has been photographed in public countless times.

The majority of his photos show the 13-year-old looking sad or serious. In one of his photos, Barron is standing beside the POTUS while the latter is giving a speech. It is evident that he has a sad look on his face.

During the Trump family’s recent outing, netizens noticed how much taller Barron has become. But while walking with his parents, he once again sported a poker face.

On the online forum site Quora, some netizens speculated on why they think Barron rarely smiles in public. Andrew Kelly, from Lewis & Clark Law School, said that Barron looks sad because he’s a 13-year-old boy with a 73-year-old dad. All of his siblings are also adults.

“Add to that, from Trump’s attitude and remarks about his daughter Tiffany, I have legitimate doubts that the guy even knows or cares that he has any children other than the three we always hear about,” he said.

“I think Barron was 11 when his father was elected. He also seems to be a very quiet, shy and introverted child. Coupled with the fact that even before the presidency his father didn’t seem to have much to do with him,” Linda Elin said.

Patricia Collins said that Barron usually looks disgusted when he’s out in public but he’s not necessarily sad. She said that the teenager was even photographed rolling his eyes at his father on one occasion. But this shouldn’t come as a surprise because the majority of teenagers don’t want to hang out with their parents.

On Twitter, some netizens also shared the same sentiments.

Despite the public’s speculations, Melania previously told Parenting that her son is just like any other 13-year-old. Barron loves sports, particularly golf. And this is something that he does with the POTUS.

This debunks one of the netizen's claims that Barron is sad because he's father and siblings are much older him.

While speaking with People, the first lady also said that her son wants to be a professional golfer, a businessman or a pilot.
