Jenna Ushkowitz, 28, and Michael Trevino, 29, are no longer an item. The acting couple has officially called time on their relationship after three years of dating. While many Hollywood couples release statements to the media when they split, Ushkowitz took a less conventional route — the red carpet. As the “Glee” actress was signing autographs at the HBO premiere of “The Normal Heart” in Beverly Hills May 19, a videographer asked if she was still with Trevino.

“No, we’re not together anymore,” she said, causing the person to apologize. "That's okay. No worries,” she replied. Ushkowitz was later asked if they were still on good terms, and said, “We’re wonderful.”

Ushkowitz and the “Vampire Diaries” actor were first seen together in 2011 at the SAG Awards. They kept their relationship quite private since then, rarely writing about one another on social media. While it is unclear quite when they broke up, four months ago, Ushkowitz posted a photo of the two from their date at the SAG Awards, along with the caption, “Happy birthday to my best friend, the one who has taught me how to laugh and love more and more everyday. Congrats on another year around the sun.”

This breakup comes amid rumors that Trevino and his “Vampire Diaries” castmate Nina Dobrev may be dating. The 25-year-old actress posted a photo on Instagram recently of herself with Trevino alongside the caption, “There’s a method to our madness #danger.” The two were bowling. While it looked innocent, “Vampire Diaries” fans were quick to speculate about Dobrev having a new boyfriend. “Nina Dobrev is reportedly dating her 'The Vampire Diaries' co-star Michael Trevino, who plays Tyler Lockwood in the CW series.’ HELL NO!!!” one Twitter user said.

Speculation about this new romance comes a little less than a year after Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder, who also stars on “TVD” called it quits after three years.
